A Summer in Lancaster is emotional romantic & steamy. I loved this book & pretty much devoured it. Once I started I simply could not get enough. It was ridiculously amazing & had me smiling from ear to ear the entire time I was reading it! There was so much I adored about this book. I loved the characters & was so invested in their lives and their journeys. I honestly want to read more about Cecilia and Damon. I found the way the elements played such a sign I can't roll in the story to be incredibly interesting & well done. This book got you covered if You like romance without the cheese.
Also i absolutely adore the chemistry between Cecilia and Damon. The two main characters are just so great, they were a joy to follow, I loved all the ups & downs of their life & how things played out was really enjoyable to read. There are tender sweet moments, sharp sprinkled moments throughout and the writing is so well paced, making for an addictive read.
This book also took me on the emotional roller coaster ride. There were parts that made me smile, laugh, and cry for the struggles that Damon must have been gone through to be together. I fell in love with Damon's character, I definitely admire his strong attitude & his vibrant personality. He isn't afraid to go out there and get what he wants, he definitely takes a leap of faith.
The main character & his struggles, the fear of sliding down the same. Everything just felt so relatable and that made the book really click with me.
Pov : How we gradually learn to love both the unnamed main characters. Throughout the book, how the events unfold during their relationship, their struggles, and their complexities & then how in the end, everything falls into place that destiny decided. I flew through this story with the help of the multiple POVS and the super fantastic chapters. The book has plots weaved together, and you ought to contemplate and make sure not to avoid any part. In a nutshell This was gorgeously conceived with interesting, nuanced characters that are easy to root for.
