•The cover is beautifully designed and the title totally goes with the book. The Scarlet Promise is a debut romance novel that is heavily written with plenty of culture, marriage, mental health, social expectations, abuse and love etc.
•This is the story of a strong spirited woman, "Esha" from a rich family in Amritsar . On her wedding shopping trip to London she meets Jack…working as a waiter in the hotel that Esha is staying in. Their friendship turns into love as they spend a week together exploring London. but she was already engaged and the family respect forces Esha to return back to India.
•What follows after their separation are years filled with pain. Time went by but the memories of Jack couldn't go away from Esha's mind and she maintains a journal in which she writes letter to Jack expressing everything she going through.
Will they meet again? Will they be together in future? What will happen to Esha?
Well to know everything you have to grab the book!
•Arrange Marriage is something, many women have to go through without voicing their opinions. That pressure is something every girl goes through and its described perfectly by the author. This is a tragic story with lots of triggers from mental and verbal abuse, marital rape and dominance etc.
•This is an incredible read, you can find very unique writings within that differs from other romance books, the story is very emotionally and told by interesting mixed feelings, and it really is a page-turning which I devoured it so fast !
•The writing of the story is engaging and crisp The plot and the storyline are outstanding. Actually I have no words to describe it. Author has done a great job by creating this story.
•The author has used easy language throughout the book, which makes it a quick read. Beautiful narration makes it even more engaging. The depth of words is maintained throughout the book.
Highly Recommended!!
