It is a fascinating & thought provoking read that keeps you hooked from start to finish. It is a fictional story, dealing with real issues, like politics & history. The story is about the British Government, Northern Ireland & how events from the past, like Bloody Sunday, can still affect the present.
One thing I really liked about this book is how it connects history to today’s world. Even though Bloody Sunday happened many years ago, the book shows how such events can still impact politics & people’s lives. It makes you think about how the past can’t be ignored & how it shapes the future. This part of the story felt very real & important.
The main character, D.C.I. Harper, is one of my favorite parts of the book. She is a smart & strong detective, working on the most important case of her career. Her investigation doesn’t just affect her but also changes the future of British politics & even the whole country. Harper is easy to relate to because she has her struggles & challenges, but she never gives up. You can’t help but root for her throughout the book.
The Author’s writing is another reason this book is so enjoyable. He knows how to build suspense & keep you interested. Every chapter makes you want to know what will happen next. The story moves at a good pace, with moments of action & quiet parts where you can think about the bigger picture. The dialogue feels natural & the descriptions make you feel like you’re right there in the story. If you like crime stories, political thrillers, or books about history, you will enjoy this one.
In a nutshell, Pegasus Rising is a powerful & gripping novel. It has great characters and an exciting story. The Author has done an amazing job creating a book that is both entertaining and meaningful.
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a story that is really fun to read & will make readers think about real life problems in a way that feels natural & easy to understand. This book is definitely going to capture your attention from the very first page.
