This gripping story delves into crime, justice & tough moral choices. It keeps readers on the edge of their seats, constantly guessing the identity & true motives of a mysterious figure.
Set in Delhi, a city struggling with serious issues like drug dealing & rising rape cases, the story follows Manoj Khare, a dedicated police officer working tirelessly to solve these crimes & bring the perpetrators to justice. However, his task becomes even more challenging when he starts investigating a series of bizarre murders. Wealthy businessmen are being killed, but little evidence is left behind, making it difficult for Manoj to crack the case.
Manoj partners with Anaya Kadri, a forensic doctor who examines the victims' bodies to determine the cause of death. Anaya discovers that while the killings are brutal, the clues point to no clear suspect. Neither the friends nor the enemies of the victims seem responsible, leaving Manoj & Anaya baffled.
As the investigation deepens, they uncover a mysterious figure who not only kills but also helps young girls who have been harmed. This duality complicates the case. Although this individual is a murderer, they also act as a savior to the girls.
The tension escalates as Manoj & Anaya work to identify the mysterious person & their motives, blurring the line between right & wrong. The fast-paced story keeps readers engaged as new clues continually deepen the mystery & just when the case seems to be unraveling, a twist makes things even more complex.
Navid Daffuwala deserves genuine praise for crafting this book. It’s not just a typical crime thriller—it’s a story that pulls you in with its depth & complexity. Daffuwala does an amazing job of balancing suspense with real moral questions, keeping readers hooked while also making them think. The way he brings Delhi’s darker side to life, with all its challenges, feels so real. And his characters, especially Manoj & Anaya, are more than just heroes—they're relatable & flawed, which makes them feel human. Writing a story where the lines between right & wrong blur takes real talent & Daffuwala pulls it off seamlessly.
