Innocent Thoughts by Pratiksha Misra

I was so intrigued by the title in the first place..perfectly captures the essence of this book. It suggests a collection of genuine, heartfelt reflections & experiences expressed in a pure and unfiltered way. Each piece feels like a glimpse into the author's sincere & innocent thoughts, taking readers on a relatable journey through various life phases.

This is a beautiful book full of poems, stories & experiences. The book tells the story of her life from then on until now. The collection feels like thoughts from a young girl exploring the world and thinking about her actions.

I found this book so beautiful because of its unique ways for the author to cope during tough times. Writing became a way to talk to loved ones who were no longer there. This makes the book relatable to anyone who has faced loss and found comfort in expressing themselves.

The book covers different parts of the author's life, like leaving a job in Mumbai, falling in love, going through heartbreak, & becoming a mother.

The poems and stories express a range of feelings—sadness, grief, learning from mistakes & the responsibilities of being a mom. More than just personal stories, this book shares important lessons & reflections on life. The writing is genuine & speaks to readers, inviting them to think about their own journeys & connect with the author's thoughts.

The best part of this book that i adore the most is the author's writing it's both powerful & easy to understand, making the book enjoyable. The author's bravery in writing honestly about her feelings is praised in the statement, "It takes great courage to say you can write, even more, to write exactly how you feel."

This book is not just a collection of poems it's about the power of words to heal, express & connect. The author's journey, invites readers to explore their own thoughts & connect with the ups and downs of life.

If you enjoy reading about real life experiences, emotions, and the ups & downs of growing up, I highly recommend this book. It's a heartfelt collection that makes you feel connected and reminds you that we're all in this journey of life together.
