The Seeker of Nothing: A fable on owning your life by Kabir Munjal

•Okay, this story personally blew me away. So many things in one! There is a ton of spice, but there is also mystery, thrill, fantasy philosophical fiction and paranormal weaved into this story. There's a twist that I just never saw coming-though I will continue to state my disclaimer that I am a terrible plot predictor. The ending was so satisfyingly bittersweet, and I found myself feeling a tidal wave of different emotions through the final chapters.

•This was such a unique story and I really, really enjoyed reading it. Learning about healing, seeking good relationships, brotherhood and getting to know oneself was truly fascinating. How do you go through your day-to-day life not recognizing the people you should?

•The story revolves around a protagonist Andahar, a former warrior who went through heartbreaking, traumatic loss. He has closed himself off to the outside world, until his brother convinced him. There was a lot of love and support throughout the story which was nice to see.

Andahar was so quirky and the story line was so fun, sometimes comical-kudos on putting a funny spin on a crappy situation where Andahar's cabin was portrayed unbearable. The air is portrayed to be stale. It reeks of sweat and an overpowering wetness. His foul breath fills the small chamber, stinking of meat and lots of rum.

•The first half had me intrigued, it was suspenseful, you could feel the tension building. There were some parts I truly loved with this book. The writing was engaging with something always going on. It was a bit scarier than I thought it was going to be, but I think that added something extra to the story. The chapters were fairly short with interesting, abstract titles. The shorter chapters meant that the story had a good pace to it.The story wasn't long overall, there was a lot of detail and action packed into it. The characters were great. There was a lot of love and support throughout the story which was nice to see. Lastly the settings. I enjoyed travelling to different times and places with the character.

Overall an interesting book. Highly Recommended !
