I was so invested and could not put this one down. The characters were well-developed and the storyline flowed perfectly and the spice hit just at the right times! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.The story revolves around Honeymaw's and her father, Jorl and his daughter. I liked a quote from this book which motivated me a lot i.e "And I will choose my own desti- nation. If I want, I will cross the entire known world. Across the Dragon Ridge Mountains, to the Imperial Capital, to the Dagger's Tooth Marshes; and maybe even to the Dragon Islands." I was hooked on this book from the first chapter, and loved how it all linked together in the end. I've already added The Last Night: Legends from before time (second series of this book) to my tbr list just because of how much i enjoyed this one. Definitely kept me at the edge of my seat.
