THE LAND OF NOTHING by ANUSHKA KAPSE

•It has a beautiful and scenic cover page that very well matches the content inside.

•Lord Shiva expresses his thoughts regarding the physical world and his finest creation, 'Human beings,' in the book's prologue. He claims that the cosmos requires humans with both brain and heart power. To progress, the world requires more Empaths. Vaidehi, the protagonist, was living in Bangalore with his husband Arjun in a 4BHK flat on the 15th floor in an affluent neighborhood. She was experiencing a dream about an eagle holding her in his claws when she became short of breath. She eventually woke up, feeling smothered by the claws' hold. It was the third such occurrence in a single month. She didn't want to worry her husband, so she got up, made some coffee, and read her favorite book to unwind. Her older daughter Riya returned from the gym, exhausted, and slept on the sofa. Arjun became enraged when he noticed that she was making the sofa filthy with her sweat. Arjun was a materialistic person and used to insults Vaidehi often, to prove that he was doing too much hard work for them.

•The novel is well written, and every one of the characters is distinctive in their way. The books become more intriguing as we read more about them. The novel depicts the other half of society, which is concealed yet manipulates many people's lives. Readers will find Dr. Vaidehi's character portrait to be highly relevant. The book will help readers reconsider the societal biases that are imposed on the lives of working women.

Highly Recommended!!
