REASONS WHY READING IS IMPORTANT FOR EVERYONE

A READER LIVES A THOUSAND LIVES BEFORE HE DIES, THE MAN WHO NEVER READS LIVES ONLY ONE  - GEORGE MARTIN

Reading may appear to be a simple pastime, but it helps to shape the aspects of your personality that you and your nearest and dearest will notice in the long term. As the lines above show, a reader has various dimensions to experience or live, but a person who does not read does not have this option. Let us examine the influence of reading on us. Reading has several advantages:

Comprehensive Development: Reading books not only enhances our mental health, but it also improves our physical health. It brings our senses into harmony. Reading transforms and enhances our character, thoughts, attitudes, principles, and beliefs.

NERVOUS SYSTEM: When we begin reading anything, our minds examine its efficacy, and we eventually discover different strategies, tricks, and ways to perform things. People who read more may think more critically and analyze things more effectively. Their minds are prepared for anything because books have supplied them with numerous dimensions to experience and understand things from all angles.

EMPATHY: People who read more may relate to other people's points of view and troubles in their life even more. Reading improves our emotional equilibrium, allowing individuals to comprehend the gravity of circumstances involving others. That is why, in a society with a higher literacy rate, problems are addressed more ethically.

KNOWLEDGE: As we read more, our knowledge grows. Knowledge may be of numerous components such as emotional, worldly, linguistic, and even diverse abilities such as writing, communication, gestures, etc. These are some of the changes that we cannot measure but can compare in different individuals.

CONCENTRATION: reading improves the inner core's steadiness. As a result, we may focus more on our work or any other activity we are engaged in. The more focussed mind generates more inventive and imaginative solutions to new challenges in our daily lives. We don't panic when things get serious; instead, we endeavor to find answers. Reading has an impact on our psychological, emotional, and action-reaction pair balance.
